Admission to all postgraduate and undergraduate courses at Vivekananda Institute of Management (under Janatha Education Society) is conducted strictly on merit, based on university eligibility criteria, competitive entrance performance, and transparent GD/PI rounds. The institute never demands or accepts capitation fees or donations. Candidates and parents are cautioned against fraudulent agents or consultants claiming guaranteed seats. MBA Program Eligibility

Postgraduate 2-Year Program
  • Academic Requirement: Recognized Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (BBA, B.Com, B.Sc, B.E./B.Tech, BA, etc.) from a recognized university.
  • Minimum Percentage: Minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for Karnataka SC/ST and Category-1 candidates).
  • Entrance Test Scores: Valid score in Karnataka PGCET, KMAT, MAT, CMAT, CAT, or XAT.
  • Work Experience: Fresh graduates as well as working professionals with corporate experience are encouraged to apply.

BBA / B.Com / BCA Eligibility

Undergraduate Degree Programs
  • Academic Requirement: Successful completion of Karnataka Pre-University Course (PUC II) or 10+2 / CBSE / ICSE / equivalent examination.
  • Minimum Marks: Minimum 50% aggregate marks across subjects.
  • Streams Accepted: Commerce, Science, or Arts streams with basic mathematics/accountancy aptitude.
  • Merit Consideration: Direct admission offered on basis of 12th board merit and interview interaction.
