In 1972, a noble council of 12 visionary philanthropists, educationists, and social reformers came together in Bengaluru to register the Janatha Education Society (JES). Their core mission was straightforward yet revolutionary: to provide high-quality, value-based, and affordable education to aspiring students across all sections of society.
Over five decades, JES has expanded into a premier educational conglomerate encompassing technical institutes, law colleges, degree colleges, and specialized management institutions bearing Swami Vivekananda’s immortal name.
Vivekananda Institute of Management (VIM) stands as the flagship management entity under JES, offering industry-centric postgraduate and undergraduate programs affiliated to Bengaluru City University and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
